The Money Savvy Generation Foundation is a registered
501(c)3 organization, dedicated to improving financial literacy
among America's youth. We provide grants to qualifying schools
and other organizations that cannot otherwise afford curriculum
materials. We also help other charitable or governmental organizations
to execute their own financial literacy initiatives.
Mission:
The Foundation's mission is to teach children, young adults and their parents/guardians the basics of personal finance, teach them about money choices; how to set goals for those choices and ultimately, by learning the skill of delayed gratification, empower kids to take control of their financial lives and, in turn, their futures
Approach:
The Money Savvy Generation Foundation provides award-winning, innovative and age-appropriate curriculum materials to educators and others to help them teach young students (grades Pre-K through 10) the skills of basic personal finance. It either funds these purchases directly or brings together various supporters and instructors to make those curriculum materials a reality in the classroom.
Reach:
Since inception the Money Savvy Generation Foundation has provided financial education to more than 310,000 students in classrooms across the U.S.
Financial literacy is a crucial life skill. We work
with organizations across the nation to help develop those skills
in our youth, from pre-school to college-age.
